Okay so I read all the negative reviews in horror after booking so if you are doing the same thing right now…fear not! The price and room size was unbeatable. I found the lobby charming and the staff were super friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean and huge( we stayed in the king suite). We had no issues with hot water or WI-FI, both elevators were working and the room temp was easily controlled. If you have read old negative reviews regarding a cleaning fee…. this fee no longer exists! We only stayed one night so it suited our needs perfectly!! I would recommend to anyone coming to NYC!

We didn’t spend much time in the room, too much to see and do. BUT the location was AMAZING!!!! Such a close walk to Time Square, Central Park, Radio City Music Hall, etc!! John the bellman was just as amazing!! Rooms were very spacious, comfy beds, mirrors everywhere in bathroom, microwave and mini fridge, good view for the location. I honestly was sketched out booking through booking.com and after reading some reviews I was nervous but we had an amazing time and would most definitely come back!! If you plan to go ABSOLUTELY request tickets to The Tonight Show w Jimmy Fallon, we ended up 3rd row and was shown on national television multiple times

The staff was really friendly and helpful. We also got a big room with more than enough space for my partner and myself. The location is also perfect with having Time Square and Central Park in walking distance.

great location, easily walkable everywhere and super close to Central Park. shower pressure was EXCELLENT with a spa bath included. very clean throughout with quite large room (we had two double beds) and heaps of space for two large suitcases and one small carry-on suitcase. big closet and lots of drawers. bed was decent though pillows were so fluffy without much support. was very quiet and warm. staff were friendly and allowed us to store luggage for the day which was super helpful. has a small fridge and microwave. no kettle or tea/coffee facilities but nowhere seems to have them in America (why??). I highly recommend staying here unless you want to sit in your hotel all day then you might want a better view.

I was getting a little worried having seen a raft of negative reviews but our stay at the Blackley was very good. There were no issues with anything and the locations is fantastic. Decor is a little dated but it still is a good value for money.

Extremely good location. NQRW Subway on the same block, this will take you wherever you want. Room was spacious clean and comfortable. They changed my towels everyday, even if we didn't ask for. Room got fridge, microwave and everything you need to have a meal in the room, which was great since most of the nights were cold and we didn't want to go outside for dinner. They even provide umbrellas for rainy days, and the front desk was always very nice and received all the packages I sent to the hotel. Also it has free Wi-Fi throughout the whole hotel and it worked perfectly. Saw bad reviews on google which scared me a lot but they were definitely from the previous management.
